Prediction: Jhonoven Pati via KO/TKO

This will be Pickett’s 3rd appearance on the Contender Series after already suffering defeats to Charles Byrd and Punahele Soriano. Pati’s 3 losses have all come against UFC/Contender Series caliber opponents in Kailan Hill, Punahele Soriano, and Ryan Spann. Pickett is the better athlete and wrestler but I don’t expect him to be able to keep control of Pati nor do much damage if he does get it to the ground. Pati has shown the ability to get back to his feet where he should win this match-up by a wide margin. Pickett’s last 2 wins were both over opponents with losing records. His last fight went to a decision against a 7-10 opponent. Somehow, he’s found his way back on the Contender Series but there’s no reason to believe this time will go any different. Take Pati for the win.
